Top Model

Since I came here in Sweden, Top Model has been my favorite tv program.Whether its America's Next Top Model or Canada's Top Model or Stockholm Top Model, I patiently watch every episode. It was season cycle 7 that I first saw in the television and followed until it ends.It was nice since you will see how they transformed to be a professional model.
America's Next Top Model (often shortened to Top Model or abbreviated as ANTM) is a reality television show in which a number of girls compete for the title of America's Next Top Model and a chance to start their career in the modeling industry.
The show was created and is hosted by television personality, former supermodel and talk-show host, Tyra Banks, who also serves as the lead judge and executive producer of the show.
I like Tyra Banks also. She very nice model.
Currently,Im watching the old season of Top Model which is shown now in Swedish television. And also waiting for the new season which is the season 9 that will start soon.

Baby Café

Today, was a very nice day.We wake up late since it's still nice to stay in bed and hide under the blanket and my husband is off from work. Our litte one also was still sleeping. After breakfast we decided to go to the Baby Cafe. They open every Wednesday from 11 oclock in the morning untill 2 oclock in the afternoon. When we arrived there, their was already many mother's bringing their baby.
Baby Cafe is where mother's and babies gather and meet each other. Talk about experiences with babies and breastfeeding. Midwives there will help you also if you have difficulty in breastfeeding. They will also teach you how to prepare food which is best for the baby when it started to eat solid food.
Aside from that, its good also because the baby will meet other babies.
It was my second time that I attended the baby cafe and I found it nice.It will remove your boredom just staying at home with the baby. You can also eat there and drint coffe(but you have to pay..but its affordable) while the workers watch your baby playing with other babies.I can also check if the growth of my child is doing good(aside from the monthly check up) since I can see other baby of the same age.I learn also many songs for the baby since you will be singing also.

Oxygen Lounge and Restaurant

In the hotel where my husband and I worked, the newly renovated nightclub just open. Its called Oxygen Lounge and Nightclub. But its not the typical nightclub that we know in Philippines.Where you can see ladies dancing on the stage stripping or womens entertaining guest in every table. Here in Sweden nightclub mean a disco house.Where people can go their have some drinks or coffe and dance. It has disk jockey also who prepare the musics to make it cool and lively.
Oxygen Lounge and Nightclub is the towns finest and hittist nightclub here in Strömstad.Where it tries to invite guest with a lifetime experience. All from a relaxing moments after days work with a newly brewed coffee or a newly drafted beer to a real party with a well prepared drinks and lots of happy guest until the late evenings.
It offers a lounge and a nightclub and is open from 4 oclock in the afternoon everyday except sunday.Three flatscreen television is found in the lounge area where people can watch a thrilling athletic events or a good movie. And when the night is approaching, they open the large dance floor, two bars and a VIP room.

Hi To All

Good day to all of you out there!

I woke up early this morning because i cant sleep more..hehehehhe.BUt my husband and my son is still sleeping.Hagok pa kaajo ang lubot. Our son sleep with us in our bed.And since dako na buyag, he already moves a lot and almost occupy my place in the bed.I woke up and realized im almost falling on our bed already. So, I just jumped out of bed and had a cup of tea and sit on the computer check some mails and of course write something here on my blog.
Yesterday, was the birthday of my one of our bosses at work. She is the boss in the Oxygen Lounge and Nightclubb in the HOtel where my husband and I work now.Her name is Ewa.She turned 30 years old yesterday so we here friends and the company surprised her of a very relaxing thing. We kidnapped her while she was working yesterday and bring her to go swimming, bubbling in a jacuzzi, stay in a bastu, and eat some fruits while doing those things. After that we had some drinks and then the hotel prepare food for her.SO we ate, sing and dance for her.She was very happy and surprised.
She is also a very good friend of ours.At her young age she already became one of the bosses in the company.A very nice and beautiful lady. One time we worked together, she gave me tips....hehehehehe...since she was in the restaurant before and I'm in the kitchen. She help me to have an extra job.Shes very nice. She's from Korea in origin but she is adopted here in Sweden.
So, while they were still partying, unfortunately, we had to go ahead of them, since my little one is already sleeping and the music in the nightclubb is already very loud.ITs not good for my son.
It was a very fun day yesterday...
We wished Ewa all the best.

My Birth Stone

Garnet is the birthstone for the month of January & anniversary gemstone for the second year of marriage.

Garnet derived its name from the Latin word granatus, meaning like a grain, which refers to the mode of occurrence wherein crystals resemble grains or seeds embedded in the matrix. Garnet is a family of minerals having similar physical and crystalline properties.

Garnet is the name which can be applied to six similar mineral species, namely almandine, pyrope, spessartine, grossular, andradite and uvarovite. To further complicate matters, many garnets are actually a combination of these minerals. Rhodolite garnet for instance, is a combination of almandine and pyrope, and is sometimes referred to as pyrope-almandine garnet. There are also many trade names and other commonly used names which only adds to the confusion, such as Rhodolite, Tsavorite, Hessonite, Malaya, Mozambique, Mandarin, Ant-hill, Leuco, Hydrogrossular, Demantoid, Melanite, Topazolite, Thai. Other names such as "cape ruby" are simply misleading and deceptive. Some garnets also exhibit color change and stars.

What Kind Of Element I Am?

Your Element Is Water

A bit of a contradiction, you can seem both lighthearted and serious.
That's because you're good at going with the flow - but you also are deep.

Highly intuitive, you tune in to people's emotions and moods easily.
You are able to tap into deep emotional connections and connect with others.

You prefer a smooth, harmonious life - but you can navigate your way around waves.
You have a knack for getting people to get along and making life a little more peaceful.

How Daring Am I?

You Are Placid and Peaceful

It's not that you're scared of most thrills
It's just that you don't need them to be happy
You're content with life as is... no need to change it
Just make sure to let loose a little every now and then!

Friendship Day

I got this award from Sis Mel.Thank you very much for sharing this to me.
Well, friendship is the cooperative and supportive behavior of two or more human beings. Which means a relationship which involves mutual knowledge, esteem, and affection. Friends will welcome each other's company and exhibit loyalty towards each other.Friends will share enjoyable activities, will help each other, will engage in exchanging of advice and the sharing of hardship.

Death

Week before last week,my mother-in-law phoned us and informed us that her mother(my husband's grandmother) was bought to the hospital because of heat attack. And that she has been operated but then there was some blood clot on her brain that she could not be awaken and anytime she will die.It was very hard since it happened so sudden. At the following night after she has been brought to the hospital she died. So, last Wednesday we have been to my in laws place to attend the funeral. It was in the south of Sweden so its quite a long travel for us.It was nice to meet my husband family. His cousins, aunts and uncles. But then it was very sad to think that one of the family had gone away.
Anyway, death is not the end of everything. Its the beginning of the new life on heaven where happiness is eternal. Heaven is the place where we cant visit here on earth.Heaven is one of those places but shall be our home after we die and leave this world. Heaven is the place where we will live forever with all the good people who lived on this earth at one time. It is also a place where we will live with God. The people who live there are alive. They will never die again
Although, death is the last chapter of the history of human life,we should remember that it is where the summary of how we live on earth is being evaluated. How we live our life according to the laws of God and human laws.

Parents Reunion After Delivery

As I was browsing all the photos in our computer, I came to look at a photo that was taken last January 9.It was when we're having our parents reunion after delivery. We were seven mother-to-be who gave birth last October.
One month before the delivery, we had the parents group where we get together with the midwives and talk about how it will be on and after delivery, pain relievers to be used, breastfeeding and sex life after delivery. On that time we still have our very big stomach, complaining about back pain, swollen feet and leg cramps. But when we were having our reunion after delivery,it was amazing to see each other as we carried our babies and no big stomach anymore. It was like magic how it happens that the human being we been carrying before in our stomach is now in our arms. A very nice feeling. After a very long wait, finally the time has come.It was a very fun as we just keep on staring on each others baby. We talk about the delivery and our lives with the babies. How different it is now than before when we still didn't have them.Among the seven, there were two of us who gave birth thru ceasarian operation because our babies was pretty big. And I am one of those. My son weighs 4420 grams when he was born. So the doctors says I should have emergency ceasarian operation after two weeks late than expected due date and long hours of labor. The other mother, her son was 5200 grams. Her son was really big. And the others were thru vaginal delivery. There were only two baby girls that was born and the rest were baby boys.
In the picture theres only six babies since the other mother already move to London.

Blogging Buddies,Forever Friends and Love Bugs Award

A very big thanks to Sis Snow for giving me this award. I am very happy and very touched because its been long that i havent put anything on my blog. But now Sis Snow is very thoughtful that she gave me something that I can write to.
Well, a good friend is somebody who is always there for you through thick and thin. A friend who can always be trusted, can give you advice and can talk to of what you feel. There are some times in our life where we need somebody to talk to that we can do even to a close relatives. A friend who can be trusted keep secrets, share thoughts of anything and most of all comfort you when you are down.
And I am very thankful that I am blessed with good friends whom I can talk to and cry on in times of my lonesliness in this foreign land that I am living now.
